“Planting Bees”

The University of Wisconsin-Madison had a PhD bee researcher doing something new and untested. They wanted to capture the innovation and promise of an elegant solution to a pressing problem and they tapped us to do it. No one knows if it’s possible, but he’s already doing it, so we started rolling. We began by digging into the research and understanding everything from the experimental design to the seasonal cycles on cranberry bogs - we sifted and sorted and found the beats of a great story. Translating complex ideas for wider audiences, using story-craft, beauty, and visual metaphor: That’s what we do.
